Missionary Ridge Blog

Now you can visit the Missionary Ridge blog to keep up to date with our band. Hopefully, I’ll post about each event coming up, and may be even put up┬ápictures and/or videos from it once it’s past.

Bear with me on the “look” of the site. I’m not too good with computers, so, it may have hundreds of new looks for a while until I like what I see. Feel free to comment on it and voice your opinion about the look or content. Want more info on an event? Just say so, and I’ll see what I can do.

Thanks for the interest! Here’s the link: http://missionaryridge.wordpress.com/

Coming Up Next…

It’s time to mark another date on your calendars, folks!

The Museum of Appalachia is hosting their 31st Tennessee Fall Homecoming this October 7-10. It looks like a lot of fun with music, clogging, and demonstrations on old-time hobbies and work, such as quilting, spinning, basket weaving, soap-making, and constructing instruments. Hundreds of musicians (click HERE for the musician schedule) will be performing, including our band, Missionary Ridge. We’ll be performing on Friday and Saturday, and would love to see you there.

Again, mark your calendars for OCTOBER 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th.

See ya there!
